Responsible for maintanence and development of web content mangement software. Development primarily in Java and C++. Gained extensive experience with low-level HTTP protocal and apache webserver module development.

April 2002 - June 2004 

Interwoven, Inc. Denver, CO. Senior Technical Support Engineer -- Support Operations
Reported to Vice President of Technical Support. Primary responsibilities included analyzing and improving business processes used in the technical support department, developing software tools for use in-house by technical support staff, developing processes and tools for supporting java developers, and occasional direct involvement with customer cases. Developed in-house case tracking system and business processes which reduced response time on case escalation from two weeks to one day.

January 2000 - April 2002 

Interwoven, Inc. Los Angeles, CA; Denver, CO. Technical Consultant, promoted to Senior Technical Consultant.
Primary responsibilities included software system analysis, consultation, installation, customization, and integration of Interwoven software at customer locations. Successfully completed over 50 projects, including many at Fortune 500 companies. Projects involved knowledge of enterprise software architecture, web and application servers, computer networking. Significant software development in Perl and Java. Also participated in developing the Interwoven Certified Consultant certification test.

January 1998 - January 2000 

Lockheed Martin Launching Systems. Middle River, MD. Software Engineer.
Primary responsibilities included architecting, designing, developing, and testing real-time embedded tactical defense applications in C and C++ using Wind River Systems VxWorks RTOS and Intel Pentium (PC104) and PowerPC (VME) hardware platforms. Also designed and implemented web-based software development process automation tools using a CGI interface and SQL database back-end. Other responsibilities included configuring and administering the Unix-based (HP-UX and Solaris) development environment, the Tornado tool-set, and the VxWorks real-time kernel.

February 1997 - December 1997 

Lockheed Martin Launching Systems. Middle River, MD. Firmware Engineering Intern, Embedded Systems team.
Responsibilities included document maintenance, data modeling, tracking of Firmware Anomaly Reports, and creating a GUI development environment in Perl/TK for engineers using the DDC-I Ada compiler and SUN Ultrasparc workstations.
